East Ayton: Crest Nicholson

CORE received the award of a contract for roads, sewers and plot works at East Ayton near Scarborough for Crest Nicholson.

Commencement of our works began in July 2024 and we expect to be on site for around 2 years.

The work content on this very rocky piece of land includes site strip, earthworks, road construction, highway modifications, drainage, pump station, attenuation tanks, and foundations and plot works to 56 new dwellings.

Rocky sites such as this can pose additional challenges for installing tanks, pipes and cables. Trenches for these utilities often need to be dug into the ground, which can be difficult on rocky terrain. However, our modern techniques and equipment allow for precise trenching and boring through rock, ensuring that all necessary utilities are correctly installed.
