CORE awarded enabling works contract in Hyde

We are pleased to announce the award of another contract by Commercial Development Projects (CDP) to CORE for an enabling works package at Hyde near Manchester.

CORE  has been appointed as Principal Contractor and will commence work on the brownfield plot located on the Broadway Industrial Estate – an established manufacturing and distribution area comprising warehouse and industrial units – on 12^th June for a period of 12 weeks.

The site is around 11,000 m2 and the scope of works includes:

• General clearance of fly-tipped material
• Taking up concrete slabbing, surface hardstandings and foundations to be grubbed out and crushed in situ for re-use as a site capping layer
• Grouting of shallow mine workings
