Batley: Remediation & Highways

Introduction

Yorkshire-based developer CDP Marshalls appointed CORE to undertake remediation and highways works in Batley, West Yorkshire.

CORE has been awarded the remainder of the enabling works package at Blakeridge Mills in Batley.

All works followed the removal of invasive species – Japanese Knotwood – and comprised remediation (of non-hazardous material) processing of natural materials, attenuation and water surface drainage, grouting and retaining walls.

The project was completed in March 2020.
