A team from CORE has begun work for the development of 100 brand-new homes for client Lovell Homes at Chestnut Drive in Louth, Lincolnshire. The project is a £16 million investment by Lovell Homes and social housing provider Acis.

CORE has been awarded the £1 million roads and sewers contract by Lovell Homes. The works have commenced on site this month (January) and the main phase will extend to July 2019. The overall development is scheduled for completion in 2022.

Chris Stacey, Commercial Manager at CORE said: “Our team, under Site Manager Sean McGuire, who brings a wealth of experience, will be working on the roads, a section 104 scheme for drainage and sewers and a Section 278 scheme.

“This is a significant project and we are delighted to be working with Lovell Homes again following a successful project with them in Doncaster last year. It was our performance at Lakeside in Doncaster that helped us secure this new contract.”

The development will create much-needed new homes at a location within walking distance of the town centre with all its amenities. Built to the highest standards, properties will look attractively traditional while offering contemporary interiors created to work for modern lifestyles.

CORE’s expertise in working with regional house builders, combined with our ability to undertake all the associated Civils requirements on such projects, ensures maximum client benefit in terms of delivery and efficiencies. Our experience includes, but is not limited to:

* Remediation to enable development

* Cut & Fill / Earthworks

* Construction of access roads to local authority adoptable standard

* Section 278 Works

* Groundworks

* Sewers & Drainage

We enable House Builders to navigate the challenges of preparing sites ready for construction.
