We are very excited to commence works on a new car park extension at a 263,000 sq ft warehouse on the Redhouse Interchange estate near Doncaster for retail giant Next.

The £400,000 civils package also includes drainage, kerbing, attenuation, services, fencing, sub-base and new surfacing to the “live” depot.

The package of works will be completed by November.

The industrial unit let to Next was built in 2007 and had previously been occupied by Asda on a short-term basis while the food retailer reorganised its distribution chain. Next has continued to invest in the business, spending £129m on stores, warehousing and systems.

Comments CORE Director Alan Cooper: “Securing the contract with Next is in part testament to CORE’s ability to exceed client expectations and we are thrilled that the retail giant wants to benefit from our civils expertise.

“Our approach ensures that we bring all of our industry knowledge and experience from across the whole company to deliver assured solutions to meet our clients’ needs.”
