CORE Golf Day Success!

The 1^st CORE Golf Day took place on Friday 6^th September and was a huge success!

Our own team, consisting of Director Alan Cooper and Site Manager Sean McGuire, were joined by teams from Bellway Homes, The RPP Group, Newby Homes, 3G Joinery, Eric Wright Group, Atkin Brothers and PFG Financial Services.

The event was held at Headingley GC, the oldest golf club in Leeds. In a completely rural setting, the course enjoys a varied and dramatic terrain which provided the golfers with a number of challenging holes.

The day began at 12h00 with bacon sandwiches and whilst the Club Manager gave an overview of what to expect from the course, the rain clouds cleared, and the sun came out!

Team CORE started proceedings teeing off by 13h30 (midday). Competing in teams of four, the group of 32 golfers had the opportunity to play 18 holes at the beautiful Headingley Golf Club, with prizes awarded at the end of the day.

Says Alan Cooper, Director at CORE: “It was great to have clients, friends and associates join us for the 1^st CORE Golf Day and the feedback from the day has been really positive, even if the golf was tough! Hopefully this is the first of many CORE golf days!”
