In support of National Apprenticeship Week 2022 we are looking for apprentices to join our growing team – based at our Head Office at Thorpe Park in Leeds and across our sites in Yorkshire.
CORE are currently involved in a wide range of civil engineering and construction projects from earthworks, remediation, and infrastructure works, and often work alongside other construction professionals in multi-disciplinary teams.
Overall, we deliver sustainable, cost-effective solutions to our clients, whether they are local authorities or private developers.
Work is often fast paced and requires tenacity and excellent communication to achieve the right result for our clients whilst maintaining the highest industry standards.
Apprentices will combine work-based on-the-job training and learning with further studies and must be willing to progress their career – and willing to undertake a day release course at a Further Education College to study relevant qualifications.
We have apprenticeship opportunities in the following areas:
- Accountancy
- Civil Engineering
- Business Development and Administration
- Groundworks (covering machine operators, pipe layers etc)
No work experience is necessary. The positions are ideally suited to school leavers at GCSE or A-Level (or equivalent), who can demonstrate the following:
- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4 or above including Mathematics & English
- Three A-Levels at grade C or above (essential for Degree Apprenticeship)
- Demonstrate an interest and a desire to pursue a career in civil engineering and construction
- Demonstrate a commitment to continued education and improvement through on-the-job learning and training opportunities
