Meet Ben, our new Technical Manager!

CORE has appointed a Technical Manager as it gears up for further expansion in the face of strong demand for its services.

Ben Gooding (28) joins the Thorpe Park-based firm in a move that will see him working on earthworks, highways and drainage design contracts for several of the firm’s clients.

He will also be responsible for mentoring junior members as well as providing on-going support to the senior management team.

Ben brings experience in civil and infrastructure engineering roles to the company having worked on a variety of projects with various contractors, including close involvement in several large-scale projects across the residential and commercial sectors.

Prior to his appointment, Ben was a Regional Engineering Manager at (The Sirius Group). He has particular expertise in developing engineering solutions, and value engineering existing projects. He has more than 10 years’ experience.

CORE is targeting the £20m turnover mark in the next 12 months while seeing its regional presence grow on the back of significant new work, which is part of a wider strategic development plan.

This includes infrastructure work, highways and drainage services and remediation and earthworks for commercial and residential clients across the country.

Bens wife Chelsea has recently given birth to their first child Henry James Gooding.
