Yorkshire-based developer CDP Marshall has appointed CORE to undertake remediation and highways works in Batley, West Yorkshire and Malton in East Yorkshire.
CORE has been awarded the enabling works and drainage package at Blakeridge Mills in Batley.
The works comprise of remediation (of non-hazardous material) processing of natural materials, attenuation and water surface drainage, grouting and retaining walls. The works will follow on from the removal of the invasive species Japanese Knotweed and will all be complete by March 2020.
In a second contract, CORE has been awarded a Highways improvement/remediation package in Malton, East Yorkshire.
The works comprise of replacement and repair of approximately 100 meters of existing substandard or damaged footpaths and road, street lighting, bus shelters, and new footpaths.
The package is due for completion in January 2020.
