The World Cup may be over for England, but CORE is celebrating winning a hat trick of new contracts worth £3.5 million – further strengthening its presence in the provision of civil engineering and groundworks schemes throughout Yorkshire and the Midlands.
The Leeds-based privately-owned business will provide infrastructure and remediation packages for clients Marshall CDP, Lovell Homes and Jelson Homes.
CORE will be returning to Gildersome in Leeds to carry out the second phase of infrastructure for Marshalls CDP. The package includes for extending the on-site roads, a new retaining wall, S278 highways for tie in with the adjacent public roads, and various works to enable construction of the remainder of the industrial units.
CORE is required to be on site in July for a six-month duration.
The civils firm has also confirmed the award of a remediation contract by Lovell Homes, for a large new residential development site at Lakeside near Doncaster. The package includes for earthworks and remediation and CORE will be on site in July with the initial scope of works expected to last 8 weeks.
In addition to the above, CORE has also received confirmation of a contract on behalf of Jelson Homes for pumping main and highway works to a new residential development site near Loughborough. This package includes for construction of a new pumping station and highway modifications.
CORE will start on site in July for on an 8-week duration.
